Harbour City Centre is a multi‑storey heritage building located at the corner of Lambton Quay and Brandon Street in Wellington’s CBD. Originally constructed in the 1920s as an annex to the historic DIC department store, the building is undergoing a $25 million seismic strengthening and refurbishment programme to achieve 100% of the National Building Standard. As part of the foundation upgrade works, high‑capacity tension bar systems were required to enhance the building’s seismic resilience and support its redevelopment.
